Listen up maggots! In Nehemiah 3, the people of Jerusalem start rebuilding their walls. They all take part in different sections, some even working on their own section. Eliashib and his sons, for instance, worked on the Sheep Gate. →

Listen up, troops! Nehemiah 4 is all about standing up and defending Jerusalem. The people of Judah were surrounded by enemies who didn't want them to succeed, and they were trying to rebuild the walls of the city. →

Listen up, you maggots! Chapter 5 of Nehemiah is about a bunch of people in the city of Jerusalem who are in a tough spot. They're poor and struggling, and some of them are even selling their children as slaves! Nehemiah hears about this, and he's angry. →

Listen up, soldiers! This is Nehemiah 6: Some of these tricky enemies of ours were trying to trick us. They kept sending us letters and messages asking us to meet with them. We weren't taking the bait, but they kept sending more messages. →

"Listen up, soldiers! Chapter 7 of Nehemiah is all about the people of Israel who returned to Jerusalem, and their leaders. First, the leaders give a list of the people who returned to Jerusalem, and then Nehemiah tells them to keep the gates of the city shut at all times. →

Listen up, recruits! This here is Nehemiah 8. It's all about the people of Israel gathering together to hear the book of the law of God. Nehemiah stands up and reads it aloud to the people. As soon as he starts, the people break down in tears, realizing how far they have strayed from the Lord. →

Listen up recruits! This is Nehemiah 9! A bunch of Israelites gathered together to acknowledge the mighty power of God, and to confess the sins of their ancestors. They separated themselves from all the foreigners and made a covenant with God. →

Listen up, you new recruits! This is Nehemiah 10! In this chapter, the leaders of Jerusalem take an oath to obey the law of God. They are to separate themselves from the people of the land and put away their foreign wives and children. →

Listen up, maggots! This is Nehemiah 11 and it's all about the people of Jerusalem. The citizens of Jerusalem have agreed to live in the city, but they have also decided to divide it up among the tribes of Israel. →

Listen up! This chapter is about Nehemiah getting the people of Israel ready for a big parade for the dedication of the city walls he's built. He's got the Levites, the singers and the trumpeters all lined up and ready to go. →

Listen up recruits! Nehemiah 13 is all about keeping the Torah and its laws. For starters, don't intermarry with those heathens from the other nations. We don't want their non-Jewish ways infiltrating ours. →
