Listen up, you new recruits! This is Nehemiah 10! In this chapter, the leaders of Jerusalem take an oath to obey the law of God. They are to separate themselves from the people of the land and put away their foreign wives and children. The people of Jerusalem agree to tithe to the Lord's storehouse and to give offerings. They also agree to observe holy days, Sabbaths, and the New Moon. They also agree to pay their taxes and to provide food and drink offerings to the priests. That's it, recruits! Got it?
