Listen up, maggots! This is Nehemiah 11 and it's all about the people of Jerusalem. The citizens of Jerusalem have agreed to live in the city, but they have also decided to divide it up among the tribes of Israel. Every tribe had a portion of the city, and they all agreed to live in their own neighborhoods. Now listen up, this is important! Some of the people of Jerusalem were brave enough to live outside of the city walls in the villages and other nearby towns. These people were brave, but they were also wise because they knew that living in the city was more protected and secure. So, let this be a lesson to you: be brave, but also be wise enough to recognize the importance of safety and security. Now, back to Nehemiah 11. This chapter also talks about the Levites, who were the religious leaders of Israel. They had their own portion of the city and they were responsible for teaching the people about God and leading them in worship. So, don't mess with the Levites, got it? That's all for Nehemiah 11, maggots!
