• Chapter 1

    Listen up, troops! This is Zechariah 1! This chapter is about God sending a message to the people of Israel through the prophet Zechariah. The message is that God is angry that the people have turned away from Him and have forsaken His laws and commandments.

  • Chapter 2

    Listen up, you maggots! Zechariah 2 is all about a vision that Zechariah has of a man with a measuring line. This man is sent from God to measure Jerusalem and to mark it off as His own. God says that He is coming soon to dwell in Jerusalem and that He will be a wall of fire all around it and that His glory will be within it.

  • Chapter 3

    "Listen up, maggots! This is Zechariah 3. In this chapter, the Lord is shown in a vision with the high priest Joshua. Joshua is standing before the Lord, and he's wearing filthy clothes. The Lord tells His angel to take away Joshua's filthy clothes, and then He gives him a clean robe and a turban.

  • Chapter 4

    Listen up, ya maggots! This is Chapter 4 of the book of Zechariah. It starts with a vision of a golden lampstand and two olive trees. Then, the Lord's angel tells Zechariah that the lampstand and olive trees represent two anointed ones who are standing before the Lord of all the Earth.

  • Chapter 5

    1-4. Listen up, you maggots! This is Zechariah 5. Ya got that? I'm gonna break it down for ya real quick. Verse 1: I see a flying scroll! It's about 30 feet long and 15 feet wide. Verse 2: This scroll is cursed, ya hear? It's gonna bring destruction to all the liars and thieves.

  • Chapter 6

    Listen up! Zechariah 6 starts with four chariots, each carrying a different colored horse. The first chariot was red, the second black, the third white, and the fourth dappled. The chariots are sent out by God, and they patrol the earth.

  • Chapter 7

    LISTEN UP, RECRUITS! THIS IS ZECHARIAH CHAPTER 7. IT'S ABOUT THE PEOPLE OF JUDAH WHO WANT TO KNOW IF THEY SHOULD CONTINUE TO OBSERVE THE TRADITIONAL DAYS OF MOURNING THAT THEY PRACTICED IN YEARS PAST. SO GOD TELLS THEM 'NO, YOU SHOULDN'T DO THAT ANYMORE.

  • Chapter 8

    GOT IT?! Zechariah 8: God's gonna bring back his people and give 'em the city of Jerusalem. He's gonna make 'em strong and they'll be a light to the nations. God's gonna give 'em peace and justice and make Jerusalem a holy place.

  • Chapter 9

    Listen up, recruits! This is Zechariah 9! The Lord's gonna send a messenger to prepare the way for the King of Israel. Then, get ready to cheer! He's gonna ride into Jerusalem on a colt, just like he said he would.

  • Chapter 10

    Listen up you maggots! Chapter 10 of Zechariah is all about God's promise of salvation and guidance. He tells his people to cry out to Him and He will answer. He will restore the fortunes of Judah and Israel, reunite them as one nation, and provide them with peace and security.

  • Chapter 11

    Listen up, recruits! This is Zechariah 11. In this chapter, God is not happy with the people of Israel. He's mad because they've been worshiping idols instead of Him. So He's gonna punish them. He tells the prophet Zechariah to be a shepherd and take care of His sheep, but then He tells him to break his staff of kindness and compassion.

  • Chapter 12

    Listen up, new soldiers! Chapter 12 of Zechariah is all about God's plan to save Jerusalem from its enemies. He's gonna do it with a mighty show of strength, shaking the nations with His power. You're gonna see Him marching out of heaven with His holy ones, and His anger will be like a fire.

  • Chapter 13

    Listen up, you maggots! Chapter 13 of Zechariah is all about God's judgment on Israel. He's gonna punish 'em for their sins, and it ain't gonna be pretty. The LORD will use a shepherd to cut off the sinners, and then two-thirds of the nation will die.

  • Chapter 14

    Hey, listen up! This is Zechariah 14, the last chapter of the book of Zechariah. Here's what you need to know: God is gonna send some bad stuff comin' your way – like a plague, and earthquakes, and mountains being split in two – but don't worry, God's gonna protect you.
