    Listen up! This is 2 Chronicles 1 and you better pay attention 'cause this is important. King Solomon is in charge and he's about to ask God for some serious help. He's gonna dedicate a temple to God, and he's gonna need God's help to do it.

    Listen up, maggots! 2 Chronicles 2 is all about King Solomon getting ready to build a temple for the Lord. He sends his servant, the architect Huram, to find the best timber and stone from the region of Lebanon.

    LISTEN UP, RECRUITS! THIS IS 2 CHRONICLES 3! Solomon built the temple in Jerusalem. He used cedar and gold from King Hiram of Tyre. The temple was 90 feet long, 30 feet wide, and 45 feet high. The porch in front of the temple was 30 feet long and 15 feet wide.

    Listen up! Chapter 4 of 2 Chronicles is all about Solomon buildin' the temple and the other structures around it. He gets some of the best craftsmen and materials from all over the world! He's also makin' a golden altar and all sorts of golden furniture for the temple.

    Listen up! Chapter 5 of 2 Chronicles is all about the dedication of the Temple. After King Solomon finished building the Temple, he gathered all the people together so he could dedicate it. He brought the Ark of the Covenant, the chest with the tablets of the Ten Commandments in it, and put it inside the Temple.

    Listen up, maggots! This is 2 Chronicles 6! King Solomon is building the Temple, and he's dedicating it to God. He prays and thanks God for all the help God has given him. He's made a special place for sacrifices and burnt offerings, and he's asking God to listen to the prayers of the people and to forgive them when they mess up.

    Listen up, newbies! Chapter 7 of 2 Chronicles is all about a promise made to King Solomon. God appears to him and says, "If my people who are called by my name humble themselves, and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven and will forgive their sin and heal their land.

    Listen up, recruits! 2 Chronicles 10 is all about King Rehoboam, the son of King Solomon. After his father died, Rehoboam had to become king of Israel. Now, the people of Israel weren't too happy with Rehoboam, so they decided to send a delegation to him to ask him to lighten their load.

    "OKAY LISTEN UP, MAGGOTS! 2 Chronicles 11 talks about how Rehoboam, son of Solomon, became king and how he strengthened the kingdom of Judah. He gathered together priests, Levites, and officers of Israel from all the cities of Judah.

    "LISTEN UP, MAGGOTS! 2 Chronicles 12 is all about King Rehoboam of Judah. He gets a visit from Shishak, the king of Egypt, who decides to invade Judah. Rehoboam humbles himself and turns to God for help.

    All right, listen up! Chapter 13 of 2 Chronicles is about King Abijah of Judah. He and Jeroboam, the king of Israel, were headin' to war against each other. Abijah had a much bigger army, so he was pretty confident he'd win.

    Listen up recruits! This is 2 Chronicles 17. King Jehoshaphat was a righteous king who followed God. He got rid of all the foreign gods and made sure everyone in Judah worshiped the Lord. He sent priests and Levites out to all the towns in Judah to teach the people the law of the Lord.

    "LISTEN UP, MAGGOTS! 2 Chronicles 18 - King Ahab of Israel took his army to fight against King Jehoshaphat of Judah. Ahab asked Jehoshaphat to join him in battle, but Jehoshaphat refused. Ahab then asked his prophets to predict the outcome of the battle, and they all said he would win.

    “LISTEN UP, RECRUITS! 2 Chronicles 19 IS A BIG DEAL! King Jehoshaphat is taking a stand against idol worship and wickedness in the land. He appoints judges to oversee the people and commands that they judge with justice and integrity.

    Listen up, maggots! Let me tell you about 2 Chronicles 20! This is a story about King Jehoshaphat. He was the king of Judah, and he was terrified because a huge enemy army was coming to attack his kingdom.

    Listen up, you maggots! This is 2 Chronicles 21. It's about a wicked king named Jehoram, who ruled over Judah. He did some really horrible things, like killing his brothers and other leaders, and worshipping false gods.

    Y'all better listen up! This is Chapter 23 of 2 Chronicles. We got King Jehoiada here, he's the high priest of Judah. He's got the kings' son, Joash, he's only 7 years old, and he's about to be crowned king.

    Listen up, maggots! This is 2 Chronicles 24. King Joash was a good king of Judah, but he was surrounded by evil advisers. So he did what they said and stopped taking care of God's Temple. Then God sent a prophet to yell at Joash and he repented, but it was too late.

    "LISTEN UP, RECRUITS! In 2 Chronicles 25, Amaziah was the king of Judah. He was a god-fearing man, but he was also very ambitious and wanted to become stronger. So he hired troops from Israel, against the advice of a prophet of God.

    GOT THAT, RECRUITS?! This is 2 Chronicles 26! We got King Uzziah here. He's a righteous king and he does what's right in the eyes of the Lord. He does a lot of stuff to strengthen the kingdom too, like building up the walls and cities and training up an army.

    Listen up, ya'll! This here is 2 Chronicles 27. King Jotham was the king of Jerusalem and he was a righteous man. He did what was right in the sight of the Lord and followed all the laws of his father, King Uzziah.

    Listen up, maggots! Chapter 28 of 2 Chronicles starts off with Ahaz, the wicked king of Judah. He did all kinds of evil in the eyes of the Lord, including sacrificing his own children as burnt offerings! The Lord was so angry he let the king of Syria and the king of Israel defeat Judah in battle and take away lots of their stuff.

    Listen up, maggots! Chapter 29 of 2 Chronicles is all about King Hezekiah who, upon becoming king of Judah, had a wash-up and got rid of all the bad stuff that had been going on. He then called all the people of Judah and Jerusalem to the temple and told them to clean it out and get rid of all the idols and other crap that had been left there by the former kings.

    Listen up! 2 Chronicles 30 is about how King Hezekiah of Judah throws a big celebration for Passover. He invites everyone in Judah and Israel to come and celebrates for a full week. Hezekiah sends letters to everyone, urging them to come, and many of them come.

    Aye, listen up you maggots! Chapter 31 of 2 Chronicles is all about money! King Hezekiah made sure everyone was paying their tithes and offerings to God. He was so serious about it, he even appointed special people to make sure everyone was doing their part.

    "Listen up, troops! Chapter 32 of 2 Chronicles is all about King Hezekiah of Judah. Hezekiah was a righteous king, and he encouraged the people of Judah to trust in the Lord and obey his commands. But then the Assyrian king Sennacherib came and threatened to attack.

    Ahh! Listen up, maggots! This is 2 Chronicles 33! So, King Manasseh of Judah, he's pretty wicked, right? He's sacrificing his children, worshipping idols, and doing all sorts of nasty things. But then, God has mercy on him, and Manasseh repents.

    Ya'll listen up! Chapter 34 of 2 Chronicles is all about King Josiah and his reforms. When Josiah was just 8 years old, he began to seek the Lord and he was a righteous king. When he was 16 he began to tear down the idols and altars of the pagan gods and seek the Lord.

    "Oh, yeh! You wanna know about 2 Chronicles 35? Here it is: King Josiah was ready to celebrate Passover, so he appointed priests and Levites to prepare the sanctuary and offerings. He also commanded them to go to towns and cities in Judah to teach the people about God's law.

    Listen up, maggots! This is 2 Chronicles 36! God's people were being punished for disobeying Him. King Zedekiah was a bad ruler and he and the people were captured by the Babylonians. God allowed this to happen because of their stubbornness and refusal to obey His commands.
