Listen up maggots! In Nehemiah 3, the people of Jerusalem start rebuilding their walls. They all take part in different sections, some even working on their own section. Eliashib and his sons, for instance, worked on the Sheep Gate. The Tekoites, however, weren't so keen on the idea and only worked on the wall half-heartedly. The people did a lot of work on the wall, but the repairs were still not finished. The priests then took their turn, led by their chief, and started repairing the wall from the Sheep Gate to the Tower of the Hundred. Next up were the Levites, led by Hashabiah, who worked on the wall from the Tower of the Hundred to the Tower of Hananel. The whole thing was finished in just 52 days. That's it! Now move out!
