Listen up, ya new recruits! In Exodus 14, the Lord tells Moses to tell the Israelites that He will fight for them and help them escape Pharaoh's army. He tells Moses to stretch out his hand over the sea and part the waters so the Israelites can pass through. So Moses does what the Lord tells him and parts the sea, and the Israelites cross over. Pharaoh and his army follow them, but the Lord causes the waters to come back together and drown the Egyptians. The Israelites are safe, and the Lord is glorified. That's Exodus 14! Now, move out!
