Folks, here's the deal. It's Numbers 20, and my father used to say it was a wild one. So, we got the Israelites over there in the wilderness and they’re thirsty, right? See here, Jack, they’re so thirsty they don’t know what to do. So, God says to Moses, "C'mon man, speak to the rock and give the people water." So, Moses gets all riled up and he says, "What? Don't make me do that. I'm not gonna do it." But God says, "No malarkey! Speak to the rock." So, Moses takes his rod and strikes the rock twice. I'm not joking, he literally hits it twice. But that's not enough for God, so he says, "No! You disobeyed me. Or uh, you know, you didn't trust me." So, then God says, "Listen, Jack, Moses, you won't be allowed to enter the promised land." I tell you what, that's a tough break, literally. So, Moses and Aaron follow God's orders and they go back to the people. And the people get their water and they go on their way. But it's a sad day for Moses, because he knows he's not gonna get to the promised land. Excuse me, but what was that? It's a real bummer.
