Listen Jack, it's Numbers 28, so here's the deal: Every day an offering of two lambs, without blemish, one a yearling and one a ram, and for a grain offering a tenth of an ephah of fine flour with a fourth of a hin of oil to moisten it. On the Sabbath day, two lambs, one a yearling and one a ram, and for a grain offering two-tenths of an ephah of fine flour with a third of a hin of oil to moisten it. Literally, my father used to say, this is a burnt offering for a sweet aroma to the Lord. C'mon, man, it's just a few lambs and some flour and oil. I'm not joking, the Lord will be pleased. See here, Jack, what was that? This offering is in addition to the regular burnt offering and its drink offering. Or uh, you know, the Lord said, "This is the burnt offering appointed at the appointed times for the Lord." No malarkey, folks! Not gonna happen, this offering will never cease. I tell you what, this was the Lord's command to Moses. Excuse me, but this was the burnt offering of the Lord.
