Batman: Robin, something is afoot! In Numbers 28, the Lord is giving specific instructions on offerings to be made on a regular basis.

Robin: Holy smoke, Batman! It's a way of showing faithfulness in worshipping the Lord.

Batman: Indeed it is, Robin. On the first day of the month, a bull is to be offered up as a burnt offering. And then, a daily offering of lambs, one in the morning and the other in the evening.

Catwoman: I'll never understand why anyone would have to make such sacrifices.

Batman: The Lord has commanded it, Catwoman. And on the Sabbath, two lambs are to be offered up, each with a grain offering.

Joker: Oh, this is boring! Why don't we do something more exciting than talk about offerings?

Robin: The Lord also commands that on the first day of each month, a burnt offering of two young bulls and one ram are to be made, along with a grain offering of a certain amount.

Batman: And on the seventh day of every month, a male goat is to be offered up as a sin offering.

Joker: Enough about offerings! Let's go do something fun!

Batman: Our Lord has commanded it, Joker. We must obey.
