Listen, Jack, here's the deal: My father used to say that in Numbers 9, the Lord spoke to Moses in the wilderness of Sinai, in the first month of the second year after they left Egypt. Uh, excuse me, he said that the Israelites were to observe the Passover, and that whoever was unclean and didn't observe it, was to be cut off from his people. Or, you know, he commanded them to observe the Passover again on the fourteenth day of the second month, and that whoever was unclean and didn't observe it, was to be cut off from his people. I'm not joking, c'mon man!

Then, the Lord spoke to Moses, saying the cloud covered the tabernacle by day, and the fire by night. Literally, no malarkey! He said that when the cloud lifted up from the tabernacle, the Israelites should break camp and follow it. I tell you what, when the cloud rested on the tabernacle many days, they stayed in their place. What was that? And when it lifted, they broke camp. See here, Jack, they did so at the Lord's command, and at the Lord's command they encamped, and at the Lord's command they broke camp. It was like a thousand years ago or something. Not gonna happen again.
