Folks, here's the deal -- Numbers 30 is about vows. C'mon, man! Literally, if a man makes a vow to the Lord, he has to keep it. Otherwise, it ain't gonna happen. My father used to say that the same goes for a woman -- she has to keep her vows too. See here, Jack, if a woman is married and her husband knows about the vow she made, then he has the power to either keep it or break it. It's all in the Bible, I'm not joking. But if he says nothing, then her vow stands. Excuse me, what was that? If a woman is not married, then she has to keep her vow and nothing can break it. But if she gets married afterwards, then her husband can either break it or keep it. That's the deal. No malarkey!
