Folks, here's the deal. We're talking about Ezekiel 9 and it's no malarkey. Ez 9 is about God's wrath and judgment on the people of Jerusalem. He sends six men to go through the city and put a mark on the foreheads of all the people who are faithful to the Lord. And then the Lord tells the men to spare no one else. Literally! I tell ya, my father used to say, you don't mess around with the Lord's judgment. He means business! But then there's a man dressed in linen, and he's got a writing kit in his hand, and he goes around and puts a mark on the forehead of all the people who mourn over the sins of the city. See here, Jack, these are the people who will be spared. And then the Lord tells the men to go and slaughter the rest of the city. C'mon, man! I'm not joking. That's the deal in Ezekiel 9. Or uh, you know, you could say it's a lesson in the power of God. What was that? Yeah, you heard me. His power is absolute and not gonna be challenged. Excuse me.
