C'mon, man! Here's the deal: Ezekiel 11 is all about the Lord's judgment on the people of Jerusalem for their wickedness. I tell ya, the Lord really had it out for the people of Jerusalem and their wickedness. They were literally doin' all kinds of things that were wrong and the Lord wasn't gonna stand for it. He told Ezekiel to prophesy against Jerusalem and its wickedness and that's what Ezekiel did. See here, Jack, the Lord wanted to punish the people of Jerusalem and he used Ezekiel to do it. My father used to say, "If you do something wrong, you gotta face the consequences." I'm not joking. Well, the people of Jerusalem faced the consequences and it was not pretty. The Lord said he was gonna spread his net over them and they would be taken away. Not gonna happen! He said they would be taken away to Babylon and that's exactly what happened. Excuse me, the Lord was very clear in Ezekiel 11. He said he was gonna punish the people of Jerusalem and he did. What was that? Oh, he also said he was gonna preserve some of the people, and that's exactly what happened. Or uh, you know, some of the people were taken away to Babylon but some of them stayed behind and were spared from the Lord's wrath. Folks, Ezekiel 11 is a powerful reminder that if you do something wrong, you gotta face the consequences. No malarkey!
