Listen, Jack, here's the deal. We are talking about Ezekiel 40. My father used to say that this chapter is literally one of the most incredible chapters in the entire Bible. It tells the story of how the Lord had Ezekiel measure the temple, the court, and all the chambers and gates. He measured the walls and the gates, the chambers, and the thresholds. It's so detailed, folks, it's almost like the Lord was creating a blueprint of the temple. But then, something even more incredible happens. The Lord tells Ezekiel to measure the altar and its courts. C'mon, man, that's like going back a few thousand years! What was that? A few thousand years ago, the Lord was telling Ezekiel to measure the altar and the courts? Not gonna happen, I tell you what. Excuse me, but this is an amazing chapter. No malarkey.
