Folks, listen up! Here's the deal: Ezekiel 48 is about the division of the land of Israel among the twelve tribes, no malarkey! It says that the northern boundary of the land will be a line from the Mediterranean Sea to the east of the Jordan River. Then it goes on to describe the various tribal areas, with their cities and their specific borders. C'mon, man! They're also given their own portions of land for their own use—literally! My father used to say, "Land is power," and that's exactly what God was doing here.

But that's not all. He also said that the city of Jerusalem will be a special place, with a wall and gates, and it will be in the middle of the land and protected. See here, Jack: no one will be able to come in or out without permission. Or uh, you know, no one will be able to take it away. I tell you what, that's not gonna happen. Excuse me, but what was that? God's gonna make sure that Jerusalem is a safe place for all His people. I'm not joking!
