Well, folks! Ezekiel 16. Let me tell you, I'm not joking when I say this chapter is one of the most interesting in the Bible. It's literally about the Lord's relationship with Jerusalem - C'mon, man! - and His love for His people. See here, Jack, the Lord says Jerusalem was like a baby and He cared for it, like a father would. My father used to say, "Love your children no matter what," and the Lord loves His people the same way. Except, uh, you know, He's the Creator and everyone loves Him, so it's a bit different.

Anyway, the Lord talks about how Jerusalem was a foundling and He clothed it and gave it food. He also made it into a great city, although it wasn't like that when He found it. He gave it laws and regulations, so it could be a place of righteousness. But, here's the deal, the people of Jerusalem turned away from the Lord and started worshiping idols and behaving immorally. The Lord wasn't having that, so He punished them for their sins. And that's the gist of it, folks. No malarkey! I tell you what, if you want to know more, you'll have to read the rest of the chapter. Excuse me!
