Peter Griffin: Alright, let's see what's up with 1 Kings 7. Well, it starts off with King Solomon building his palace, which took 13 years. He made the Hall of Pillars, the Porch of Judgment, and the Throne Room, which was all made of wood covered in gold and precious stones. And then he built the Great Court which was surrounded by a wall which was way cool.

Lois Griffin: Oh, my! That sounds really fancy!

Brian Griffin: Yeah, and it gets even fancier. Solomon also built two large bronze pillars, one called Jachin and the other called Boaz, which were like 30 feet high and 15 feet in circumference.

Stewie Griffin: Wow, that's like the size of a mid-size SUV!

Chris Griffin: But it doesn't stop there. Solomon also built a large furnace and four large bronze vessels, which held 40,000 gallons of water.

Quagmire: 40,000 gallons? That's enough to fill an Olympic-sized swimming pool!

Meg Griffin: But wait, there's more. Solomon also built a pool, which was made of bronze and it was about 10 feet deep and 30 feet wide.

Peter Griffin: That's like a regular-sized swimming pool!

Lois Griffin: And I guess this is the end of the chapter, because next we see Solomon finishing all the work on his palace, and then dedicating it to the Lord.

Brian Griffin: So there you have it, 1 Kings 7. A great example of how fancy Solomon was, and also how much he loved God.
