Batman: Greetings, Robin! I've heard of a most magnificent feat of engineering in 1 Kings 7.

Robin: What is it, Batman?

Batman: King Solomon was building his palace and he wanted to make sure it was the most impressive building in the region. So he called on an incredibly skilled craftsman named Hiram to build an extraordinary pair of bronze pillars for the entrance.

Robin: Wow, that must have been something to behold!

Batman: It certainly was, Robin. But what's even more impressive is that Hiram also created a large collection of ornamental bronze vessels for the palace.

Catwoman: *purring* And I'm sure they were all very pretty too.

Batman: Indeed they were, Catwoman. He made two large round basins called lavers, a pair of large bronze oxen that stood at the entrance, a large number of bronze utensils, a great many bronze pillars, and even a sea of bronze, which was a large round basin with a circumference of 10 cubits!

Robin: That's an impressive list of accomplishments!

Batman: Indeed it is, Robin. Hiram certainly outdid himself with this project.

Joker: *laughing* Oh, I'm sure the King was quite pleased!
