Batman: Robin! Let's review 1 Kings 3!
Robin: Alright Batman, I'm ready!
Batman: King Solomon had asked God for wisdom to rule the people, and God was so pleased with his request that He granted him great wisdom and many riches.
Robin: Wow! What happened next?
Batman: God appeared to Solomon in a dream and asked him what he wanted most. Solomon replied that he wanted an understanding heart to judge the people and to discern between good and evil.
Robin: So God granted him that too?
Batman: Yes. He also granted Solomon long life and prosperity if he walked in God's ways and kept his commandments.
Riddler: Riddle me this, chaps: what else did Solomon do?
Robin: He made a treaty with King Hiram of Tyre and provided him with materials for the building of the temple.
Batman: And he set up a system of administration to govern the people, as well as built cities and fortresses.
Catwoman: How did Solomon handle disputes between the people?
Robin: He had a way of solving disputes by using wisdom and justice. He was known for being able to judge between two conflicting parties with fairness and wisdom.
Batman: That's right Robin! And that's the end of 1 Kings 3!
