Batman: Robin, we must hurry! King David is on his deathbed and his last wish is for his son Solomon to be crowned King of Israel.

Robin: Right away, Batman!

Joker: Not so fast, heroes! I'm here to stop you from crowning King Solomon!

Batman: Joker, you know you can't stop justice. Now, stand aside!

Joker: [sighs] Fine, I'll let you have your way this time.

Batman: Thank you, Joker. Now, David gave Solomon some last advice before he passed away. He told him to be strong and brave, to keep God's laws, and to follow his commands.

Robin: Wow, that's some great advice!

Batman: It certainly is, Robin. Solomon also receives some more specific advice in 1 Kings 2. David tells him to settle any unfinished business he has before he dies, like taking revenge on those who have wronged him.

Robin: That sounds like a tough task.

Batman: It is, Robin. But, it is an important one. David also tells Solomon to be kind to the people of Israel, and to keep the covenant God made with them.

Joker: Ha! So, Solomon has to make sure no one breaks the law? What a bore!

Batman: On the contrary, Joker. Keeping the law is the only way to ensure justice and peace in the Kingdom of Israel.

Robin: Wise words, Batman!
