Peter: Alright, Family Guy fans, it's time for a summary of 1 Kings 17! So, this chapter starts off with God telling Elijah to go to a brook called Cherith and stay there. He said the ravens would provide Elijah with food and drink.

Brian: Wait, God sent Elijah to a brook? That's like telling someone to get a job and live off the land!

Peter: Haha, yeah, I guess you could say that. Anyway, eventually the brook ran dry, so Elijah moved on to Zarephath. There, he met a widow and asked her for some bread.

Lois: Uh oh, that's a dangerous move. Widows don't take kindly to strangers asking them for food.

Peter: Yeah, but fortunately, the widow was willing to help Elijah out. She said she had only a handful of flour and a little oil, but that she would make Elijah a cake with it.

Stewie: Now, this is a scene out of a Disney movie! The poor widow and the mysterious prophet!

Peter: Haha, yeah, it kind of is. Anyway, as promised, the widow made Elijah a cake and God provided enough flour and oil so that the widow's supply would not run out.

Chris: Wow, that's some serious divine intervention!

Peter: Sure is! After that, God used Elijah to bring the widow's son back to life.

Quagmire: Now, that's a miracle!

Peter: Yes, it sure is! And that's 1 Kings 17 in a nutshell.
