Alright, in Deuteronomy 14, God tells the Israelites not to cut themselves off from their people by changing their appearance and not to eat any animals that are considered unclean. He also says they should tithe to help the poor. But then He goes on to say that if they want to eat any of the unclean animals, they should just make sure to cook them really well first. So, basically, you can eat a pig, just make sure it's really well done. (That's God's advice, not mine.)
