Peter: Alright, so in Hosea 6, God's like, "Come, let us return to the Lord, who has torn us to pieces, but he will heal us. He has injured us, but he will bind up our wounds."

Lois: Oh, that's so sweet. God is like a doctor patching us up.

Brian: Yeah, like Doc from Back to the Future, except he's better at time travel!

Stewie: Although I'm sure we all wish that he could heal us from the effects of the pandemic…

Peter: Yeah, but God's like, "After two days, he will revive us. On the third day he will restore us, that we may live in his presence."

Lois: So God's healing us will be like the second coming of Jesus?

Brian: Yeah, it's like the second coming of Jesus, but with the power of a Marvel superhero, like the Hulk!

Stewie: Interesting. That could be a cool movie.

Peter: And God's like, "Let us acknowledge the Lord, let us press on to acknowledge him. As surely as the sun rises, he will appear."

Lois: So we need to keep pressing on and acknowledge God, even when we can't see him?

Brian: Yeah, it's like waiting for a new season of Game of Thrones. You know it's coming, but it's not here yet.

Stewie: And we all know that the ending is going to be much better than the books.

Peter: That's right! So, God's like, "Let us know the Lord, his going out is as certain as the dawn. He will come to us like the rain, like the spring rains that water the earth."

Lois: So, God is like a refreshing rain shower that brings life and healing to the earth?

Brian: Yeah, it's like the rain during a drought. A much needed drink of water!

Stewie: Or like a tall glass of lemonade on a hot summer day.

Peter: Right. That's Hosea 6 in a nutshell.

Lois: Well, that was a nice summary.

Brian: Yeah, it's like a summary of the Bible, but with Pop-Tarts!

Stewie: Perfect.
