Peter: Alright, here we go. Chapter fourteen of Hosea. God says, "Return, O Israel, to the Lord your God, for you have stumbled because of your iniquity."

Lois: That's like when I tried to return those pants and they wouldn't take 'em back cause I had already worn them.

Brian: That's nothing like that, Lois.

Peter: Anyway, God says that Israel should confess their sins and turn to Him, and He will heal their apostasy. He promises them rain in due season, and he will love them freely.

Stewie: Free love? What a hippie!

Peter: Then God says that the trees of the field will clap their hands and sing, and the mountains and hills shall break forth into singing, and all the trees of the field shall give glory!

Lois: Knock it off, Peter! You're not supposed to be reading the Bible, you're supposed to be summarizing it!

Peter: Oh, right. Well, God promises that Israel will be strong in the Lord and blossom like a rose. He promises that they will be like a well-watered garden, like a spring of water, whose waters never fail.

Brian: Sounds like a great place to take a vacation.

Peter: Yeah, I guess it does. In the end, God says he will be like a dew to Israel, and they will blossom like the lily. And that's the end of Hosea 14.
