Acts 10: Peter is visited in a vision by a sheet of animals, which God tells him to eat. Peter refuses, saying he has never eaten anything unclean. The sheet is taken away and an angel appears, telling Peter to go to the house of Cornelius, a Roman centurion. Peter obeys, and Cornelius and his family are baptized, which causes a stir in the Church. Peter is then criticized by the Church for baptizing Gentiles, but he defends his actions by saying that God's mercy is available to everyone.
