Hey, everybody—it's me, Norm MacDonald, with the latest chapter of the Bible. This time, it's Acts 3. So get ready for a wild ride!

The chapter starts off with Peter and John walking to the temple when they come across a lame man asking for money. Peter, being the generous guy he is, heals the man. Word gets around, and a huge crowd gathers to check out the miracle. Peter then uses the opportunity to preach to the crowd and remind them that Jesus is the Messiah they've been waiting for.

But then, it all goes wrong. The religious leaders get upset because Peter's preaching is a challenge to their authority and they arrest Peter and John. After a night in jail, the two are brought before the Council and grilled about their actions. But in a bold move, Peter stands up for his beliefs, and the Council eventually releases him and John with a warning.

And that's it for this chapter. Tune in next week for more Bible fun with Norm MacDonald!
