"Welcome back to Weekend Update, I'm Norm MacDonald. Let's head to the Bible for a chapter summary. In 2 Samuel 22, we find out that King David is giving thanks to God for delivering him from all his enemies. The chapter goes on to describe how God rescued him from Saul, from his enemies and from the Philistines. It's a nice gesture, but c'mon, David, you had a whole army with you, so it's not like God had to do all the work. That being said, David does have a nice poetic tribute to God's power at the end of the chapter. All in all, not a bad read, but maybe a bit too much flattery. That's all from us here at Weekend Update. I'm Norm MacDonald. Good night and have a pleasant tomorrow."
