Peter: Alright, so Romans 7 is about, uh, the law and how it ain't gonna save ya, right?

Brian: Right...

Lois: So it's kind of like when I tried to use coupons at the grocery store and the cashier said they expired?

Stewie: Oh no, not this again!

Peter: Yeah, Lois. Basically, Paul's talkin' about the law and how it doesn't have any power over us, 'cause Jesus is our new, much better coupon.

Chris: So, like, we don't have to follow the law anymore?

Lois: Not in the same way, no. Paul talks about how now we have the Holy Spirit to help us make better decisions, and that the law doesn't have the same power it used to.

Stewie: So it's like when I tried to use my expired coupons at the toy store and the cashier said no?

Peter: No, Stewie, it's not like that! It's more like when I tried to use my expired coupons at the fast food place and the cashier said the deal didn't work anymore.

Brian: So the law has been replaced by a better deal?

Peter: Yeah, exactly! Jesus is the new coupon, and He's gonna help us make better decisions.

Chris: So, like, we don't have to worry about following the law anymore?

Lois: Not in the same way, no. The law still applies, but Jesus is our new way to understand it better and make better choices. So it's kind of like when I tried to use my expired coupons at the restaurant but the cashier said they wouldn't work anymore and I had to pay full price.
