[Peter] Alright, here's the lowdown on 1 Corinthians 7: Lois, it starts off with some advice on not getting divorced. Paul says that married people should stay together and not break up, 'cause it's better to just stick it out.

[Lois] Oh, like that old saying: "divorce is like a box of chocolates... you never know what you're gonna get."

[Brian] That's Forrest Gump, Lois.

[Lois] Oh, right. Anyway, Paul then talks about how people should stay in their current state in life, whether it be married, single, or otherwise. He also talks about how slaves should stay enslaved, which is obviously a bit of a controversial topic nowadays.

[Stewie] And he also talks about how celibacy is a great thing, and how people should stay single if they can. He even goes so far as to say that it's better than being married.

[Peter] Oh, like that old saying: "single and ready to mingle."

[Lois] That's not an old saying, Peter.

[Peter] Well, it should be.

[Lois] Anyway, Paul finishes up by saying that people should be content with their current situation, and that it's all about doing what's best for them, and being faithful in whatever state they are in.

[Stewie] So, in a nutshell: don't get divorced, stay in your current state in life, and be content with it. Got it.
