Folks, here's the deal. I'm not joking: Jesus was doing some serious work in Matthew 8. Literally, he was healing people everywhere he went. He healed a leper, some centurions, and even Peter's mother-in-law. I mean, what was that? Healing people? C'mon, man! That's like, uh, something you'd expect from a superhero or something. Or, you know, from Jesus.

Anyway, then there was this storm that came out of nowhere, and Jesus just laid down and took a nap. It was like he didn't even care about this storm. I mean, my father used to say, "Biden, don't mess with Mother Nature." But Jesus wasn't worried. He just said to the sea, "Stop it!" And it did. See here, Jack, that's the power of Jesus right there. No malarkey.

Then Jesus cast out some demons, and then he got on a boat and crossed the sea. He said to the disciples, "Look, I'm gonna make you fish of men." And they did. I mean, I'm not joking, Jesus was doing some serious work. That's the deal. Excuse me.
