Folks, here's the deal: Jesus and his disciples go up on the mountain and they see Moses and Elijah there. Now, it's like a ghost story or something, but it's real. No malarkey! And then God's voice comes out of a cloud. C'mon, man! That's pretty incredible. So, the disciples fall flat on their faces, 'cause I guess they're kind of scared. Then Jesus talks to them and tells them to listen up, and he says he's the Son of God. See here, Jack, that's something! Then they come down the mountain and they get back to the regular business of life. Now, my father used to say that if you want to get anything done, you just gotta get to work. So, Jesus and his disciples get to work, and they keep teaching and healing the people. Now, I'm not joking, but a lot of people wanted Jesus to do all kinds of crazy stuff, like turn rocks into gold, but that's not gonna happen. So, Jesus tells them if they have faith, they can do whatever they need to do. What was that? Oh, yeah, that's right: faith is more powerful than anything else. Excuse me, but I'm gonna say it again: faith is more powerful than anything else. That's what Jesus is trying to tell us in this chapter. Literally.
