Batman: Robin, you must prepare yourself for the challenge ahead. We are entering the Bible chapter of Matthew 17.
Robin: What is the challenge, Batman?
Batman: We must unravel the mystery of the Transfiguration of Jesus.
Catwoman: Pffft, what a bore. That sounds like a lesson for Sunday school children.
Batman: On the contrary, Catwoman. In this chapter, Jesus takes three of his disciples - Peter, James, and John - up a mountain, and there he is transfigured before them. His face shines like the sun and his clothes become dazzling white.
Robin: Wow! What an incredible sight that must have been.
Riddler: Indeed, Robin. But what else happens in this chapter?
Batman: Moses and Elijah appear and they talk to Jesus about his upcoming earthly mission. Then a voice from Heaven says, “This is my beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased.” After that, Jesus and his disciples come down from the mountain.
Robin: What an amazing experience to witness!
Penguin: Yes, but there's more. Later in the chapter Jesus performs a miracle, healing a demon-possessed boy.
Batman: That's right, Penguin. Jesus tells the boy's father, “Everything is possible to him who believes.” This is a powerful reminder to us all that faith can move mountains.
