Robin: Holy Bible, Batman! What's going on in Matthew 6?

Batman: We've got a lot to cover, Robin. Jesus is teaching his followers how to pray, how to give to charity, and how to fast.

Joker: Why should anyone bother with any of that stuff? It's all so boring!

Batman: Not so, Joker! Jesus teaches us that when we pray, we should do it in private, and not for show. We should also give to charity in secret, and not for the attention. And when we fast, we should do it discreetly.

Robin: So, bottom line, Batman, we should not seek attention for our good deeds!

Batman: That's right, Robin! We should do all of these things for God alone, not for the praise of others.
