Batman: Robin, we must take on the mission of summarizing the tenth chapter of the book of Matthew!

Robin: Holy Bible, Batman! What do we need to do?

Batman: Well, old chum, Jesus is sending out the twelve apostles to spread the good news. He tells them to go to the lost sheep of Israel and to preach that the kingdom of heaven is near.

Robin: Gosh, that's a lot of work!

Joker: Ha ha ha! It's a good thing Jesus didn't send you two! You'd be too busy eating pizza and watching reruns of "Gilligan's Island" to do any work!

Batman: Not so fast, Joker. Jesus also tells them to heal the sick and to cast out demons.

Robin: Wow, that's a lot of power!

Catwoman: And I'm sure Jesus gave them a few pointers on how to use that power.

Batman: You bet he did! He told them to provide for their needs, to stay humble, and not to be afraid of those who oppose them.

Robin: That's a tall order!

Riddler: But of course, what would a chapter in the Bible be without a few warnings?

Batman: You're right, Riddler. Jesus warns his apostles to be wise as serpents and innocent as doves. He also tells them that they will be persecuted, and warns them not to fear those who can only kill the body.

Robin: That's heavy stuff.

Penguin: But don't worry, Robin. Jesus also provides some comforting words. He tells them not to be afraid, because he has already overcome the world.

Batman: Indeed he has! Now, Robin, let's get to work on the next chapter!
