Listen, Jack, here's the deal. It's all about the baptism of Jesus by John the Baptist. No malarkey! My father used to say, "You can't be a Christian without being baptized". So, Jesus comes out of the wilderness and goes to John, who is baptizing people in the Jordan River. He says, "It is fitting for us to fulfill all righteousness." Then John baptized him in the river and, folks, out of the water comes a voice from Heaven saying, "This is my Son, in whom I am well pleased." I'm not joking! Or uh, you know, it could have been an angel. What was that? Literally, the voice came from Heaven and everyone was like, "Woah!" See here, Jack, this was the moment that Jesus was officially anointed as the Messiah. It was the start of his public ministry. So, that's it. Not gonna happen that the Son of God gets baptized in the Jordan River again. I tell you what, it's an important moment in history, excuse me.
