Folks, here's the deal - we gotta recognize what was said in Matthew 23. C'mon, man. My father used to say, "you can't judge a book by its cover". Well, that's exactly what Jesus was talking about here. He's telling us don't go around judging people and pointing fingers at them. Jesus said, "you should worry about the log in your own eye before you worry about the speck in someone else's". Literally, I'm not joking, he said "you hypocrite, first take the log out of your own eye, and then you will see clearly to take the speck out of your brother's eye". See here, Jack, this is the kind of stuff that the Lord was talking about. Or uh, you know, don't go around thinking you're so perfect, because you're not. Not gonna happen. That's why Jesus said, "Woe to you, teachers of the law and Pharisees, you hypocrites! You shut the door of the kingdom of heaven in people's faces. You yourselves do not enter, nor will you let those enter who are trying to". I tell you what, this is important. We gotta take the Lord's word to heart and think about what it means for us. Excuse me, but this is the kind of thing we all need to remember.
