Batman: Holy Moses, Robin, did you read about what happened in Exodus 34?

Robin: I sure did, Batman. It says that God spoke to Moses and proclaimed His name, His attributes, and His expectations for His people.

Batman: Let's make sure we remember all of that. God revealed His name to be "The Lord, a merciful and gracious God, slow to anger, and abounding in steadfast love and faithfulness."

Catwoman: What's so special about that?

Batman: God's name reveals His character. He is merciful and gracious, slow to anger, and faithful. He's a God of love, and He expects His people to live according to His ways.

Robin: That's right! It also says that God warned the people not to make any covenants with other nations or to worship any other gods.

Joker: Ha ha ha! That's a tall order!

Batman: Indeed, it is. But God is a God of justice and He will not tolerate idolatry. He will punish those who disobey Him.

Robin: That's right, Batman. He also made a covenant with His people, promising to drive out the nations before them and give them the land.

Penguin: Sounds like a sweet deal!

Batman: It is, Penguin, but it comes with a responsibility to do what is right and to follow God's commands. Those who disobey will be punished.

Robin: Yes, and God told Moses to carve two tablets of stone with His laws so His people would remember them.

Batman: That's right, Robin. God's laws are meant to be a guide for how we should live, and we must remember them if we want to live in His grace.
