Batman: (in a serious tone) Alright, Robin. We've arrived at the twentieth chapter of Exodus.

Robin: Holy Moses, Batman! What's this chapter about?

Batman: This chapter is all about the Ten Commandments.

Joker: Ah, the Ten Commandments! That's one of my favorite books!

Batman: (sternly) Not the time for jokes, Joker!

Joker: (puts hands up in surrender) Alright, alright. I was just trying to lighten the mood.

Batman: (turns back to Robin) So, these commandments are God's laws that He gave to the Israelites. It starts with, "I am the Lord your God, who brought you out of the land of Egypt, out of the house of slavery."

Robin: Wow, Batman, that's powerful!

Batman: Yes, and then the Ten Commandments follow. First, you shall have no other gods before me. Second, you shall not make for yourself an image in the form of anything in heaven above or on the earth beneath or in the waters below. Third, you shall not take the name of the Lord your God in vain. Fourth, remember the Sabbath and keep it holy. Fifth, honor your father and mother. Sixth, you shall not murder. Seventh, you shall not commit adultery. Eighth, you shall not steal. Ninth, you shall not give false testimony against your neighbor. And tenth, you shall not covet.

Robin: (nods solemnly) Those are some pretty important commandments, Batman.

Batman: (nods in agreement) Indeed, Robin. We should all strive to live by them.
