Good evening, I'm Norm MacDonald, and here's what happened in Isaiah 5: God is mad at the people of Judah because they are wicked and have abandoned him, so he compares them to a vineyard he planted and expected them to produce good fruit, but instead they produced bad fruit. So God has decided to punish them, and he's going to turn their land into a wasteland, with thorns and briers taking over. He's also going to send armies against them and make them suffer, so maybe they'll learn their lesson and turn back to him. But he's not giving up hope - he's still calling out to them and asking them to repent. That's what happened in Isaiah 5.
