Hey everyone, Norm MacDonald here with a summary of the Bible's Isaiah 47. That's right, the same Isaiah we all know and love - but this time he's ready to get a little snarky. In this chapter, we see God's wrath unleashed on Babylon and her people. He condemns them for their pride and arrogance, and says he will bring them down from their lofty heights and make them slaves of the foreign nations. But wait, there's more! God also says that even though the Babylonians will experience great suffering and humiliation, the Israelites will be delivered from their captivity and return to their homeland. So, there you have it - Babylon's pride will be their downfall, and the Israelites will get to go home. I'm Norm MacDonald, and that's the Bible for you.
