ATTENTION! Listen up you maggots! Now, in Genesis 35, God tells Jacob to leave Bethel and go to Ephrath. Jacob obeys and builds an altar to God there. He names the place 'God of Bethel'. On the way, Rachel dies in childbirth and her son is named Ben-oni. Jacob changes it to Benjamin. Jacob then returns to his home in Shechem, where God appears to him and tells him to move to Bethel. Jacob builds another altar there and names it 'God of the house of God'. He then moves on to Luz, which he renames 'Bethel'. He has twelve sons, which he names. God appears to him again and blesses him. That's it for Genesis 35! Any questions?
