"Listen up, recruits! This is Genesis 8! God remembered Noah and all the wild animals and all the livestock that were with him in the ark. So, he sent a wind over the earth, and the waters started to recede. After 150 days, the water had gone down enough that the tops of the mountains were exposed. Then, God made a wind pass over the earth, and the waters started to recede even more. Finally, after another 40 days, Noah opened the window of the ark and sent out a raven, then a dove to see if the water had receded. When the dove came back with an olive branch in its beak, Noah knew that the water had gone down enough for him to leave the ark. That's it for Genesis 8, recruits! Now move it!
