Listen up new soldiers, this is Genesis 29! Jacob is on the road to meet his uncle, and he stops at a well. He meets a group of shepherds, and he asks them who owns the flock they are tending. They tell him that it belongs to Laban, Jacob's uncle. Jacob then rolls away the stone from the well and waters the flock. When he's done, he kisses the shepherds and they tell him that Rachel, his cousin, is coming. When Rachel arrives, Jacob kisses her and tells her that he is her cousin. He then works for Laban for seven years so he can marry Rachel, but Laban tricks him and gives him Leah instead. Jacob then has to work another seven years for Rachel. In the end, Jacob has twelve sons and one daughter with Leah, Rachel, and their two maidservants. That's it for Genesis 29!
