Batman: That's right, Robin. John is calling for a baptism of repentance to all those who come, for the forgiveness of their sins.

Catwoman: Oh, I'm sure you two do-gooders are just loving this.

Batman: Well, Catwoman, John is also warning people of the wrath that will come to those who don't repent.

Robin: That's a bit harsh, Batman.

Batman: John is even talking about the coming of the Messiah and how he will baptize with the Holy Spirit and with fire.

Riddler: What does that mean, Batman?

Batman: John is saying that the Messiah will bring a cleansing of sin and a purification of hearts to those who believe and follow him.

Joker: Ha ha ha! Sounds like a load of hooey to me!

Batman: Not necessarily. John is also talking about how the Messiah will bring a new way of living, one that is just and fair.

Robin: That's a noble cause, Batman.

Batman: Indeed it is, Robin. Let's make sure we stay on the right path and don't stray from the teachings of the Messiah.
