Hey, it's Norm MacDonald here with a summary of Proverbs 9. This chapter is all about wisdom and understanding. It starts off with a woman named "Wisdom" building a house and inviting the foolish to come and learn. She offers them food and wine and promises knowledge and understanding. Then there's "Folly" who also builds a house and invites the simple to come and learn. But instead of offering knowledge and understanding, she offers them only ruin. So, Wisdom is good, Folly is bad - got it? In the end, it's all about learning wisdom and avoiding foolishness. That's Proverbs 9 in a nutshell - or should I say, a nutshell of wisdom.
