Well, folks, it's time to check in on the Bible, and this week we're looking at Proverbs 22. So what do we have here? Well, it looks like someone's trying to pass off a bunch of old-timey cliches as wisdom. So here goes: "A good name is more desirable than great wealth; to be esteemed is better than silver or gold." "Rich and poor have this in common: The Lord is the Maker of them all." And, uh, "Train a child in the way he should go, and when he is old he will not turn from it." Yeah, that's gonna work.
