[Norm MacDonald Voice] So, Proverbs 14. The chapter starts off with some real zingers. Like, "every wise woman buildeth her house," and "the simple believeth every word." Wow, that's some real deep stuff, right? But don't be fooled, because there's also plenty of wisdom in there, like, "in the fear of the Lord is strong confidence." I mean, that's some real life advice right there. Anyway, it goes on like that for a while, with words of wisdom, warnings about fools, and another gem like, "where no oxen are, the crib is clean: but much increase is by the strength of the ox." I mean, that's a real metaphor! But then it finishes up with a few more gems: "a fool's wrath is presently known," and "the wicked is driven away in his wickedness." That's the Bible for ya, folks.
