Norm MacDonald:

Hey, folks, we’ve got a real wild one here in Numbers 32. So two tribes, the Reubenites and the Gadites, ask Moses if they can settle on the eastern side of the Jordan River instead of joining the Israelites in the Promised Land. Moses is like, “OK, sure, but you have to provide the other tribes with warriors and fight with them until they get their land.” And the tribes are like, “Sounds good,” and Moses is like, “Great. Then it’s a done deal.” So, yeah, that’s it. Wild stuff, huh?
