Well, this week we got a real humdinger of a chapter in the Bible with Numbers 10. Here’s the gist of it: God tells Moses to make two silver trumpets and use them to call out the Israelites when they’re on the march or when they’re gathering. And, then, in the most exciting part of the chapter, God says, “when the trumpets sound, the people shall assemble before you.” Wow! What a finale!

But, wait, there’s more! We also get a list of all the places the Israelites went to on their journey from Mount Sinai to the Promised Land. So, if you’ve ever wanted to do a deep dive into the geography of the Middle East, this is the chapter for you.

So, that’s it for Numbers 10. God’s got the Israelites all ready to march, but before they do, they’ll need to blow the silver trumpets and get everyone gathered together. Tune in next week when we find out what happens next!
